Get the inside scoop on Ireland Rugby Players

‘Who’s most likely to?’ with Irish Rugby players

As a proud sponsor of Irish Rugby and its home, Aviva Stadium, we like to get a behind-the-scenes peek into the lives of some of our favourite rugby stars - particularly with the Autumn Nations Series only around the corner!

This time around, we're putting Irish Rugby players Tom O'Toole, Dan Sheehan, and James Ryan to the test in a quick-fire game of "Who's most likely to?". The rules are simple - there are four rounds covering sport, home, car and travel, and each player must name the teammate who first comes to mind with each statement…

From anticipating who in the squad is most likely to snore whilst travelling to admitting who is the first to leave the gym after training, these lads don't hold back as they tell us what the guys get up to on and off the pitch!

Maybe you have always wondered how new Irish captain Caelan Doris measures up in the eyes of his teammates? Do you think he has the best, or worst parallel parking skills? See if you’re correct by watching the video in full!

[Kathy]

With you for the tries and lows, Aviva are proud sponsors of Irish rugby. I'm Kathy Kavanagh and today I'll be putting to the test how well Irish Rugby team players Tom O'Toole, Dan Sheehan and James Ryan know their teammates as we play a quickfire game of Who's Most Likely To’.

[Kathy]

Who's most likely to be the first to leave the gym after training?

[James]

Josh van der Flier.

[Kathy]

Just done and dusted and gone.

[Dan]

Josh will be up there.

[Kathy]

Straight out the door…

[Tom]

Once he’s done he's straight in the car, yeah.

[Kathy]

Who's most likely to score the winning try in a crucial match?

[James]

Definitely not me.

[Tom]

Definitely not me.

[Dan]

Probably Pete O'Mahony.

I've had a couple of good ones though. I'd probably have a long enough list of them.

[Kathy]

Who's most likely to know every nook and cranny of Aviva Stadium?

[Tom]

I'd say Craig again.

[Dan]

Cian Healy.

[Kathy]

Have you seen him going for a wander?

[Dan]

He's just been there far too many times.

[James]

Cian Healy, I think he's third on the all-time Irish list for most caps, so I would say him.

[Kathy]

Who's most likely to lip sync Ireland's Call due to a lack of singing skills?

[James]

Lack of singing skills…

[Tom]

I'd say James Ryan.

[Dan]

James Ryan.

We're always just trying to get better.

[Kathy]

Who's most likely to snore whilst travelling?

[James]

There's two names that spring to mind.

[Tom]

Andrew Porter.

[Dan]

Ryan Baird.

[James]

They're both horrific snorers.

[Kathy]

Who's most likely to miss their flight?

[Tom]

I'd say Bundee.

I try to do my best as I can.

[James]

Maybe Iain Henderson, just because he can fall asleep at any point.

I didn't have to get up too early, thankfully.

[Kathy]

Who's most likely to lose their passport?

[Tom]

I'm going to say probably Iain again. As smart as he is, he's quite a clumsy guy.

[James]

Ryan Baird, yeah. I’ll go for him.

[Kathy]

That was very quick.

[Dan]

Yeah. Caelin Doris.

Getting the second shot. And Caelin Doris crushes.

[Dan]

Has everything done for him.

[Kathy]

Who's most likely to struggle with their driving test if they took it again tomorrow?

[James]

Jesus. I'm trying to think. Who's a rogue driver?

[Tom]

James Ryan, I'd say.

[Dan]

James Ryan.

[Kathy]

Have you been in the car with him?

[Dan]

He has failed a good few.

[Kathy]

Who's most likely to have the best parallel parking skills?

[Dan]

Between Tadhg and Pete.

[Tom]

I'd say Tadhg Furlong. Tadhg Furlong, he's quite a skillful guy. So I'd say he'd actually be quite skillful in his parking, so I'd back him.

[Kathy]

Who's most likely to have the worst parallel parking skills?

[James]

I'd say Finlay Bealham. I'd say he'd just, he'd sort of just panic.

[Dan]

James Ryan.

[Tom]

Caelan Doris.

Caelan Doris was the one to get there.

[Tom]

Even though, yeah, even though he has all the sensors and the cameras, it still doesn't help him, so I'd say Caelan Doris.

[Kathy]

Who's most likely to be the worst backseat driver?

[Dan]

Hugo.

Keenan, Keenan’s going to score for Ireland!

[Tom]

I'm probably going to give it to Hugo Keenan. I think he's quite diligent in how he does things. So I feel like for someone who's driving, if they're quite a little bit sloppy, I think he would say something.

[Kathy]

Who's most likely to have the messiest bedroom?

[Tom]

Uhh, Caelan Doris.

[James]

One of the single lads.

[Dan]

Joe McCarthy.

[James]

Joe McCarthy. Yeah.

[Kathy]

Who's most likely to have a picture of themselves in their home?

[James]

Definitely Dave Kilcoyne.

[Kathy]

Really?

[James]

Yeah, definitely, definitely. I'd say he's got a number of pictures.

[Dan]

Andrew Porter, maybe?

[Kathy]

Who's most likely to leave the immersion on?

[Dan]

James Ryan keeps jumping into my head.

[Tom]

I'm going to say Dan Sheehan.

Van der Flier, back inside, Sheehan, gap opens up, Sheehan!

[Tom]

Likes his heat!
