Aviva, in collaboration with Citroën, have given Michelle and Steve Riddett, along with their two children, Emma and Alex the adventure of a lifetime: a 10-day road trip around the breathtaking landscapes of Ireland in a Citroën C5 Aircross ë-Series Plug-In Hybrid and with car insurance provided by Aviva.
Day six of the Riddett family’s Great Aviva Road Trip was all about adventure, excitement, and a little bit of relaxation too! The family spent the day at Ballyhass Activity Centre in Mallow, where the kids experienced the ultimate adrenaline rush while Mum and Dad enjoyed some well-deserved downtime.
A Warm Welcome and High-Flying Fun
The day started with a big welcome from Eabha and the team at Ballyhass. The Riddett’s were instantly impressed by the friendly atmosphere and the variety of activities on offer. Emma and Alex could hardly contain their excitement as they geared up for two hours of zip lining above the beautiful lakes.
The kids had an absolute blast soaring through the air, feeling like superheroes as they zipped across the water. “Think Superman!” they said, laughing and comparing notes on their favourite zips. It was a thrilling experience they’ll be talking about for a long time.
Meanwhile, Steve and Michelle took a different approach to the day—watching their kids from the comfort of the on-site sauna and plunge pool. It was the perfect balance: the kids got their adrenaline fix, and the parents got to relax and recharge.
Splashing Around at the Aquapark
After all that zip lining, the family wasn’t done with their adventures just yet. Next up was Ballyhass’s famous Aquapark, where Conor and the crew guided them through a fun-filled session on the inflatables. From bouncing around on giant obstacles to splashing into the water, the Aquapark was a hit with everyone.
Emma and Alex were in their element, tackling the various challenges with enthusiasm, while Steve and Michelle joined in the fun, proving that adventure is for all ages. It was a fantastic way to wrap up a day full of activities, and the family couldn’t stop smiling as they headed back to dry land.
A Well-Earned Rest
After a day of high-energy adventures, it’s no surprise that the Riddett family slept soundly that night. Ballyhass had provided them with the perfect mix of thrills, fun, and relaxation, leaving them ready for the next leg of their journey.
