Aviva Ireland Partners with Riley to Provide Free Period Products at Aviva Stadium
Aviva Ireland (Aviva) has partnered with award winning Irish period care company Riley to provide free period products at Aviva Stadium, helping ensure fans, players and officials feel comfortable, confident and supported during events at the stadium.
Removing a barrier
Periods can be an overlooked but real barrier to taking part in sport and live events.
Aviva research found that:
- 82% of people who menstruate have struggled to find period products in public venues
- 62% have left events early due to lack of access
- Only 38% believe venues are doing enough to support their needs
- 82% have skipped or changed exercise because they felt unprepared
- 85% say period stigma affects confidence in sport
Providing free products is a simple step to improve the difference for everyone.
Making a difference at scale
Free Riley products are available in:
- Female bathrooms
- Accessible bathrooms
- Player and referee changing rooms
With nearly 100 facilities across the venue and over one million visitors in 2025, this sets a strong benchmark for inclusive facilities in Ireland.
Riley’s products are made from organic cotton and are plastic-free, supporting Aviva’s sustainability ambitions.
Supporting women’s sport and inclusive events
Launched alongside a historic Women’s Six Nations fixture at Aviva Stadium in May, the partnership supports the continued growth of women’s sport in Ireland.
By making essential products available, Aviva and Riley aim to help people take part fully – whether attending, playing or officiating.
The initiative supports:
- Improving comfort and confidence at live events
- Participation in sport
- Reducing stigma
Together, Aviva Ireland and Riley are helping ensure that everyone can take part and enjoy the experience.
